Just a reminder to hand in your Winter Walk sponsor money into the school office! Once again the sun shone and we had a great time. Remember there are prizes for the top sponsors!
So, I've just finished my fifth tin of 'Christmas Biscuits'. Trouble is, everytime I finish one tin, then Tesco has a *new* offer. In fact I even managed to drink an entire cup of tea using just biscuit dunking. Well, if you're anything like me, you'll be glad to hear that, as usual, the PTFA is here to help us get back on the straight and narrow (as opposed to curvy and wide)!
On January 30 2011, we'll be organizing our annual Winter Walk around the fields of Harston. The route is about 3 miles around our pretty countryside. We'll leave the school at about 10.30am, in time to get back for soup and jacket spuds from 12 noon. Tastes so much better after all that fresh air! For those of you who are busy in the morning; feel free to turn up for soup and spuds from noon, and then walk the route in the afternoon instead!
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the school grounds, but they are welcome to come on the walk itself as long as they are kept under control. Also the route can get quite muddy - so do come prepared for that!
Sponsor forms are available here - as always there will be prizes for the top fund raisers!
By the way here's a map of the route ...
